Tracey is an ex-principle clarinetist of the Wessex Band Summer School.

Tracey graduated from the University of Salford in 2000 with an honours degree in Band Musicianship. At Salford she studied arranging under Prof. Peter Graham, conducting under Prof. Roy Newsome and performance under Prof. David King.

Since 2000 Tracey has been head of music at, firstly King Richard School, Portsmouth, and presently The Regis School, Bognor Regis. She has worked as Musical Director for Stage One youth Theatre on the Musical West Side Story as well as directing many shows at her schools. The have included Disney’s Alladin, Fame and We Will Rock You.

She enjoys conducting local wind and brass bands and spent 13 years as assistant director of the Portsmouth Music Service and Portsmouth Music Hub Wind bands. Tracey has a busy banding schedule playing Clarinet with Southampton Grad Band, and baritone saxophone with The Band of the Hampshire Constabulary.
